Peter Maller, MBA, CFP®, AEP® is the Founder and President of Maller Wealth Advisors, Inc. headquartered in Hunt Valley, MD. Peter has over twenty-five years of experience in the financial planning industry and specializes in working with successful business owners, professionals and high-net-worth individuals throughout the United States.
He was named the Lincoln Financial Network (LFN) Planner of the Year1 in 2007, every year from 2009 to 2014, 2016, 2017 and 2019. He was recognized in the August 2011 issue of Registered Rep magazine as one of America’s Top 100 Independent B/D Advisors (#18)2. He completed his undergraduate degree at Washington College, graduating magna cum laude, and received his Master of Business Administration degree from Florida State University. A two-time collegiate tennis All-American, Peter continues to be an active member in the Maryland athletic community.
He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional having earned his designation through the College for Financial Planning and is certified as an ACCREDITED ESTATE PLANNER® Designee by the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils. He is FINRA Series 6, 7, 63 and 65 registered and Life, Accident and Health insurance licensed.
Peter is a true leader in giving back and supports more than twenty different charities and not-for-profit organizations, both nationally and internationally. His community involvement includes serving on the Board of Trustees at The Baltimore Estate Planning Council, the Board of Trustees at Garrison Forest School, and he was most recently appointed to the Washington College Board of Visitors and Governors where he serves on the Investment and Endowment Committee.
In 2016, 2017, and 2018 Peter was the presenting sponsor for the Stroup Kids for Kids Epilepsy cause. He also gives his time to his alma maters. At Washington College, he has served on many different committees and received the distinguished Alumni Service Award in recognition of his involvement and support. He has served on the MBA Advisory Board for Florida State University.
